It runs in the family

Set in a hospital, this mixture of misunderstandings and subterfuge provides mad-cap entertainment and belly-laughs.
Dr. Mortimore, Head Neurologist at St. Andrews Hospital, is reaching the pinnacle of his career, delivering the Ponsonby Lecture at an international conference. But he finds himself trying to fend off an ex-lover, a punk son, and various other lunatics. Preparations for a staff pantomime, a wonderfully irrepressible elderly gent in a wheelchair, a gullible policeman, assorted hospital staff and an ancient and proud grandmother, create mayhem, as through elaborate lies and farcical antics Dr Mortimer attempts to salvage his career and his marriage.
